Terry Reed Jr. was issued a citation for animals-at-large after a horse belonging to him was discovered in the roadway on Jacksboro Trail. Sgt. Seth Perry issued the citation.

Arrested on warrants were Samuel C. Dollar, Mellanie P. Richardson, Andrew Graves, Brian Mullen, Brittany Nicole Keyte, Ernest Edward Hill, Scotty Glenn Grizzle, Mary Ann Potete, John B. Carter and Laura N. Whitworth.

A man was charged with DUI and his friend was charged with public intoxication after Deputy Melanie McCormick was dispatched to the new highway under construction off Center Hill Road.
McCormick discovered a white Dodge dually stuck in the mud near Elkins Road. She soon discovered that driver Patrick Clark's driver's license was suspended for failure to satisfy a citation. He was subsequently charged with DUI. Passenger Steven Martin was charged with public intoxication.

Deputies investigated a burglary on Carole Anne Drive. The family had arrived home only to discover that their front door had been kicked in. The only items reported missing were a Glock 23 pistol, a Walther .22-caliber pistol and a Remington .22-caliber rifle. Also taken were 300 rounds of ammo for the Glock and 1,000 .22-caliber rounds.

Driver Jeremy Thomas was charged with DUI after an accident on Jim Cummings Highway.

A husband and wife were charged with resisting arrest, assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct after an incident on Petty Gap Road. Peggy and Masuhito Iinumas both face the multiple charges.
Marvin Corley faces multiple charges following a traffic stop by Deputy Melanie McCormick, who was patrolling Baker Lassiter Road when she witnessed a white Dodge truck driving slowly and erratically.
Corley failed multiple sobriety tests and allowed deputies to search his truck. A pill bottle was discovered containing one hydrocodone and 71 oxycodone pills in it along with a baggy containing some marijuana. A .22-caliber rifle was also discovered.
Corley was charged with DUI, second offense, simple possession and possession of a legend drug.

Daniel Blake Marlow was charged with driving on a suspended license, third offense, following a traffic stop on John Bragg Highway.


Woodbury Police

Marilyn Renee Phillips was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Aug. 27 in General Sessions Court.

William R. Holt was charged with DUI and with a violation of the implied consent law by Patrolman Eric Moss. A hearing is set for Aug. 20.

Jason Garcia was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A hearing is set for Aug. 20.

Melissa Francis was charged with driving on a suspended license and with failure of financial responsibility. A hearing is set for Aug. 27.
