Sheriff's Department Recovers Stolen Building Materials

On Tuesday, January 5, 2010 members of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 208 Mason Street, Woodbury in reference to stolen building materials.

Officers removed decking, siding and a small number of hand tools from the scene which were taken to the Jail and will be returned to the owner.

No arrests were made but the case is still under investigation.

“We have a suspect that we plan to interview concerning the case but he is currently out of state,” said Investigator Charlie Wilder. “We were informed of the missing items by the owner which led us to this location.”

Those participating in the execution of the warrant included: Sheriff Billy Nichols, Investigators Charlie Wilder and Vance Walker, Lt. Brad Hall, Deputies Anthony Young, Randy Neal and Public Information Officer Andy Bryson.
