Sheriff Dept. Investigating Theft From Construction Site

Seven tires and wheels have been stolen from a Jones Brother Construction site in Cannon County. 

The theft occurred sometime between Feb. 10 and Feb. 13.

According to Cannon County Sheriff's Department reports, sometime this past weekend, someone had cut a lock off of a heavy chain that had been used to secure all seven tires in place.

Three of the rims were aluminum while one was steel.

 Seven Bridgestone Firestone tires size 11r22.5 were also stolen.

The value of the tires and rims totaled $2,500. 

A witness saw a white Ford extended cab with a black grill at the Elkins Road site. The truck had a fuel tank with red handles and a diamond plated panel down the side of the bed.

Anyone with information about this theft needs to contact the Sheriff's Office at 563-1000.
