Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:
Gloria H. Deaton was bound over to the September, 2009 term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. She is charged with domestic assault.
Lea Ann Farless was bound over to the September, 2009 term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. She is charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting arrest and vandalism over $500.00.
Shannon R. Herman was bound over to the September, 2009 term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. He is charged with assault.
Jared Ian Smith was bound over to the September, 2009 term of the Cannon County Grand Jury. He is charged with simple possession of marijuana.
Jackie Bogle pled guilty to the charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, serving 48 hours in jail, paying a $350.00 fine, attending an alcohol safety school and performing 24 hours of litter pickup. In addition, he lost his driver’s license for 1 year. In another case, Bogle pled guilty to the charge of evading arrest. He was sentenced to 6 months in the county jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation and paying the court costs.
Alesia Campbell pled guilty to the charge of violation of probation. Her probation was extended and she was ordered to serve 60 days in jail.
Michael Pittman pled guilty to the charge of domestic assault. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 36 days in jail and paying the court costs. In addition, he will submit to a domestic violence assessment and comply with all recommendations.
Jeromie Mashburn pled guilty to the charge of theft under $500.00. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 30 days in jail, paying the court costs and paying restitution. In another case, Mashburn pled guilty to the charge of possession of schedule drugs. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 30 days in jail, paying a $1,500.00 fine and paying the court costs.
Russell Halliburton pled guilty the charge of driving under the influence first offense. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 40 days in jail, paying a $350.00 fine and the court costs. In addition, he will lose his driver’s license for 1 year.
Angela Maraschiello pled guilty to the charge of driving under the influence second offense. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, serving 45 days in jail, paying a $600.00 fine and paying the court costs. In addition, she will lose her driver’s license for 2 years.
Maranda Murphy pled guilty to the charge of simple possession of a schedule drug. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, paying a $750.00 fine and paying the court costs.
Larry Finley pled guilty to the reduced charge of reckless endangerment without a weapon. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 48 hours in jail, paying a $350.00 fine and paying the court costs. In addition, he was ordered to attend an alcohol safety school.
Summer Williams pled guilty to the charge of vandalism. She was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, paying the court costs and performing 40 hours of public service work at the City Park.
Stanley Hale pled guilty to the charge of driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to 6 months in the county jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, serving 12 days in jail, paying a $50.00 fine and paying the court costs. In addition, he will lose his driver’s license for 1 year. In another case, Hale pled guilty to the charge of criminal attempt to commit perjury. He was sentenced to 6 months in the county jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation and paying the court costs.
