The Cannon County Senior Center Travel Club is sponsoring a trip to Biltmore Estate and Pigeon Forge Nov. 20-22.

Departure: Woodbury, TN @ 8 am

Day 1: Depart Woodbury in a spacious, video, and restroom equipped motorcoach as you head for Ashville, NC. This evening you will check into Spring Hill Suites and then load the bus for a seated dinner at the Biltmore Estate. Enjoy a Vanderbilt Christmas encompassing everything from the majestic displays of visual delight at Biltmore House to the intimate subtleties of holiday luxury at the inn. Immediately following dinner, enjoy a Candlelight Tour of the Biltmore House illuminated completely with candles and soft lights, much as the house appeared when George Vanderbilt lived here.

Day 2: Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before departing for a self guided tour of what everyday life was like on River Bend Farm at the turn of the century. Meet farmyard animals, meet a blacksmith, a woodworker, and try your hand at churning butter along with a tour of the gardens, Winery, and , shopping at the Biltmore Estate. Depart Ashville NC for Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. After checking into the hotel enjoy dinner and a show at the Black Bear Jamboree. Following the dinner and show we will head to The Miracle Theater for the 8 pm show.

Day 3: Enjoy shopping at the Five Oaks Mall in Pigeon Forge, and then depart for home…...a time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done in such a short period of time.
