Rigsby Graduates Summa Cum Laude From Austin Peay

On December 18, 2009, Candise Rigsby graduated Summa Cum Laude from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science in English. Candise also received her teaching certification in 7-12th grade English from the Tennessee Board of Education.

She is the daughter of Greg and Connie Rigsby and the granddaughter of Dewaine and Reba Prater and the late T.J. and Betty Rigsby.

While attending Austin Peay, Candise was very active in her sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and participated in the Governor's Ambassadors program.

In the future she hopes to find a teaching position close to Cannon County and will pursue a Masters Degree. The Rigsby family would like to extend their congratulations to the recent graduate, and they wish her luck in her future endeavors.
