As we approach spring the real estate market finds itself finally on the rebound. Sales figures for Middle Tennessee and the rest of the country are showing much improvement over the previous four years.

Rutherford county is experiencing lots of new construction and sales of new homes is strong. With the weak demand for housing over the last four years development of new subdivisions in Middle Tennessee has been at a standstill.

This will have an effect of a shortage of supply of building lots throughout Middle Tennessee. Developers are hard at work now bringing lots online but, there will be a lag time in filling this new demand.

What does that mean for homeowners in Cannon County? This will mean that we will be going from a buyers market to a sellers market rapidly. If you are thinking about selling, this spring should be the best market we've had in the past four to five years.

What does this mean for potential home buyers? If you've been thinking about taking advantage of the attractive pricing of housing and the low rates of the past four years now is the time to make your move.
We are fast approaching the end of this down market and strong demand for housing in the Middle Tennessee area is the forecast for the coming year.
