WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms, and conditions of a Deed of Trust Note dated February 5, 2016, and the Deed of Trust of even date securing the same, recorded February 11, 2016, in Book No. 164, at Page 936, in Office of the Register of Deeds for Cannon County, Tennessee, executed by Jeremy A Pugh and Irene P Pugh, conveying certain property therein described to David Marttala as Trustee for Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for First National Bank of Middle Tennessee, its successors and assigns; and the undersigned, Wilson & Associates, P.L.L.C., having been appointed Successor Trustee by Pingora Loan Servicing, LLC.

Cannon County 911 Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Cannon County 911 Emergency Communications District will meet at 6:00 pm, June 27thth, at the Cannon County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), 301 E High St, Woodbury, Tennessee, or such other location as may be posted at the Courthouse, where and which time the Board will consider any matter that may be properly presented. There will be a public hearing to review the budget proposed for the fiscal year that begins July 1st. Board members may participate by electronic means. The public is invited to all meetings.

Notice From Cannon County Schools

The Special Education Department is in the process of purging the special education records of former students who received special education services in school and turn 25 years old during the year 2018 (children born anytime during the year 1994). If you would like to pick up your records, please come to the Cannon County Board of Education by July 2, 2018. If you do not pick up your records by that date the most current testing and IEP/504 information available will be scanned and saved, and the remainder of the file will be shredded. You may pick up your records anytime Monday- Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM or Friday from 8:00 am-3:00 PM. If you have any questions, please call Audrey James at 615-563-5752, ext. 225.


A vacancy will exist on August 31, 2019, on the DeKalb Utility District's Board of Commissioners due to the expiration of the term of Joe Foutch serving DeKalb County on the District's board. The Board plans to certify a list of three nominees to the DeKalb County Mayor to fill this vacancy at its regular meeting on July 3, 2019. A customer may submit a name for consideration by the Board for the list of nominees. Any names to be considered should be provided to the District's General Manager at least one week before this meeting. Qualifications for nominees can be found at T.C.A. 7-82-307(a)(3), 7-82-308(d), 7-82-607, and 8-18-101.

Bid Notice

The Cannon County Board of Education is taking bids for the construction of a video recording platform in Robert A. Harris Gymnasium at Cannon County High School located at 1 Lion Drive in Woodbury, TN. For further details, you may visit our office at 301 W. Main St. in Woodbury, TN to view the plans, or visit our website at and click on the RFP tab.

Bids will be opened at 1:00 PM on June 25 at the Central Office of Cannon County Schools, 301 W. Main St., Woodbury, TN. In order for a bid to be considered, all bids must be received at the Central Office by 1:00 PM on that date in a sealed envelope, marked "video recording platform bid" on the outside of the envelope. The Cannon County Board of Education will consider the bids at their meeting on June 25, 2019. The meeting will be at 6:30 PM in the board room at the Central Office. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Sealed bids for Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinet Renovations will be received by the Woodbury Housing Authority, 401 McFerrin Street, Woodbury, Tennessee 37190 on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. and then at said office of the Executive Director publicly opened and read aloud. Prior to the opening of the envelope, the names of all contractors listed shall be read aloud and incorporated into the · bid. The estimated construction cost for the project is less than $300,000.

Prospective bidders may obtain copies of the Contract Documents at the office of Cauthen & Associates, LLC, 2908 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. A deposit of $200.00 is required for one set of Contract Documents. All bid deposit checks or drafts shall be made payable to Cauthen & Associates, LLC. Requirements for bid deposit refunds can be found in the expanded Advertisement for Bids bound within the Project Manual. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required from plan rooms not listed in the advertisement as already having bidding documents.

All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA 62-6-119) with all bid submittals conforming to the State of Tennessee requirements. All bidders shall provide evidence of a license in the appropriate classification before a bid can be considered. Reference is made to the Instructions to Bidders for Contracts contained. in the Project Manual for turther bidding information.

The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Walk Through and Prebid Conference
At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, a prebid conference will be held at the administrative office of Woodbury Housing Authority, 401 Mcferrin Street, Woodbury·, Tennessee, 37190, for the purpose of answering questions bidders may have and to consider any suggestions they may wish to make concerning the project. Immediately following the prebid conference, a walk-through of the project{s) will be held by the Owner. Although not mandatory, all contractors are recommended to attend this walk-through and prebid conference.
