Concerning August County General Election For School Board
First day nominating petitions for the August County General may be issued will be January 6, 2012 for those wishing to run for School Board District 1, 3, 4.

The petitions are required to be filed in the election office by April 5, 2012 no later than 12:00 Noon [TCA 2-5-101(a)].

Separate sealed bids for Contract 211 - Water Treatment Plant Drainage Basin Improvements for Furnish & install one (1) pumping station, one (1) drainage basin, retro-fit existing basic, piping, fencing, cat-walk, handrails, etc...and all related appurtenances proposed on plans will be received by the Town of Woodbury at the office of City Hall until 2:00 o’clock P.M., C.S.T. Thursday, February 2, 2012 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies may be obtained at the office of James C. Hailey & Company located at 7518 Hwy. 70S, Ste. 100, Nashville, TN 37214 upon payment of $200.00 for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning each set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded his payment, and any non-bidder upon so returning such a set will be refunded $50.00.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor’s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 1246.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

A PRE-BID MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 26, 2012 AT 10:00 A.M. ON-SITE.
