Perry Ray O'Neal, 75, of Auburntown, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro.

He was a member of the Milton Church of Christ and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army. He was a retired engineer and worked at the VA and AEDC.

He was born in Cannon County, the son of the late Naomi Robinson Davis and Ruby O'Neal.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Carlano O'Neal of Auburntown; children, Tammy Duffy of Murfreesboro, Blake (Tammy) O'Neal of Auburntown, Mona Eckerson of Murfreesboro, Anthony Carbonari of Orlando, FL, Gina (Scott) Ritter of Lascassas; a brother, Paul D. (Pam) Davis Jr. or Dublin, VA and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Teb Batey officiating. Burial will be in Odom Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Edwin McAdoo, Jr. Davis, Henry Knox, Brad Campbell, Randy Vassar, Greg Kennedy, Lynn O'Neal, Doug Pursell and Jim Duffy.
