Pauline Gilley Jones Clay

Services for Pauline Gilley Jones Clay, 88, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Steve Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Odom Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.

Mrs. Clay died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at her home. She is survived by her children: Jim Jones and Karen (Richard) Grose both of Woodbury, Jerry (Kim) Jones of FL., Steve (Kathy) Jones of Harlem, GA; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and daughters-in-law:   Diane Jones of Woodbury and Gearline Jones of Auburntown. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe “Tince” Gilley and Stella Mae Barrett Gilley; her husbands, Jess Jones and C.E. Clay; 2 sons, Donald Jones & Garlin Jones. 

A member of Shiloh Baptist church, Ms. Clay was a homemaker and a former Eastern Star.  She loved her Corgi dogs and was loved yard sales. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Short Mountain Masonic Lodge Benevolence Fund.
