Patricia Parr

Mrs. Patricia "Patty" Parr, 62 of Bradyville, TN passed away on May 2, 2019. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 2, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold Sebastain Karaschin and Cecelia Michalik Karaschin and a brother, Lawrence Karaschin.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Parr of Bradyville; son, Larry Karaschin of Bradyville; daughter, Liz (Buddy) Bain of Smithville; sister, Christine (Andres) Castro of Detroit, Michigan; six grandchildren, Blake Bain, Anthony Bain, Xavier Karaschin, Ashton Bain, Oliver Karaschin, and Aubree Bain, as well as many friends.

She grew up in Detroit and met Ray at a Valentine's dance. They planned to celebrate their 27th anniversary in June. She and her family came to Cannon County and made their home many years ago. She worked for Parsley's market for about 15 years before her health began to fail. She was a simple, down to earth person, with an amazing smile. She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets. Her family nicknamed her the "Yard Sale Queen". She liked working in the yard and one of her favorite flowers was a sunflower. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family every chance she had.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 2-4 pm. Holding to her simple life and wishes they will say goodbye with some of her favorite songs following visitation. In lieu of flowers they request donations through the funeral home to assist with expenses.
