Parents Of Future CCHS Football Players Invited To Feb. 20 Meeting

If you have a son in the 8th grade who will be a freshman at Cannon County High School next year and he is interested in playing football, mark the date of Feb. 20 on your calendar.

That's when CCHS Head Coach Joel Schrenk will be holding a meeting at the field house to answer any questions parents may have concerning playing football at the high school.

"We are growing a great program and we want everyone eligible to be a part of it," Schrenk said.

The meeting will cover costs, calendars, schedules and many other topics," Schrenk said.

Schrenk stressed that students at the high school can play other sports in addition to football.

"We work closely with Coach Rigsby (basketball), Coach Gannon (soccer) and Coach Cunningham (baseball) to make sure that our athletes can play whatever sports for the high school they want to play."
