One Pleads Guilty To Driving On Suspended License

Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday.  Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:

Patricia Y. Heath pled guilty to the charge of driving on a suspended license.  She was sentenced to 6 months in the county jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, serving 2  days in jail, paying a$ 50.00 fine and paying the court costs.

Leslie Belfus was appointed an attorney.  She is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Paul Rumsey was appointed an attorney.  He is charged with violation of probation.

Michael Brown was appointed an attorney.  He is charged with violation of probation.

The remaining cases on the docket were civil and simple traffic violations.  In the civil cases Judge Melton either held hearings or entered judgments.  In the traffic cases defendants were either fined or ordered to attend driver safety school.
