This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few strong to possibly a severe thunderstorm or two could be
possible through early morning hours today for locations
generally around and north of the I-40 Corridor. Main concerns
will be strong to damaging winds and heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Heat index values are expected to range 100 to 105
degrees for locations west of Cumberland Plateau Region
Tuesday through Sunday afternoons.
Today
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 2pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 2pm. High near 82. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight
A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 69. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between noon and 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
