Nancy Lee Melton Seal

Nancy Lee Melton Seal, 73, of Hamburg, died Thursday, October 25, 2018. Mrs. Seal was a native of Woodbury, Tennessee and a resident of Hamburg for the past 48 years. She worked at the Hamburg Shirt Factory for over 33 years and for the Ashley County Medical Center for 17 years, having retired in September of this year. Mrs. Seal was a member of the Hamburg Church of Christ. An an avid Razorback fan, she loved calling the hogs, spending time with family and watching her grandchildren play sports. Her hobby was always helping and serving others.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Jerry D. Seal in 2007; her parents, Ollie and Bertie Parsley Melton; two brothers, Joe Melton and Mack Melton and two sisters, Mae Helen Ferrell and Martha Melton.

She is survived by her daughters, Mandy McElroy and husband, Robin, of Crossett, Brandi Reynolds and husband, Michael, of Hamburg; her brothers, Jimmy Melton and Junior Melton both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her sisters, Ann Warren and Inellon Ferrell both of Woodbury, Tennessee and Agnes Harris of Stevenson, Alabama; a very special friend, Gail Davey of Hamburg; five grandchildren, Ethan McElroy, Elijah McElroy, Emorie Claire McElroy, Kaden Reynolds and McKenzi Reynolds and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service is 2 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Griffith and Bro. Joe Sponagule officiating. Burial will be in the Carlock Cemetery.
