Men Face Charges After Car Plows Through Fence

Two Liberty men face charges following an incident on Big Hill Road on Dec. 21.

Cannon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Neal charged Abdul K. Alataby, 2527 Sugar Tree Knob Rd., Liberty, with DUI and Driving on a Suspended License.

Alataby allegedly drove a vehicle though a fence and crashed in a field on Big Hill Rd., causing property damage.

A passenger in the vehicle, Larry Dale Grizzle, 2646 Sugar Tree Knob Rd., Liberty, was charged by Sgt. Neal with Public Intoxication.

Alataby’s bond was set at $2,200. Grizzle’s was set at $200. Both men are scheduled to appear in Cannon County General Sessions Court on Feb. 7.
