McFarlin Presides Over General Sessions Court Monday

Judge Ben Hall McFarlin, Jr. of Rutherford County presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Monday.

The only criminal case on the docket was Robert Gary Foster. Foster was charged with domestic assault. His case was continued for 12 months upon good and lawful conduct, no contact with the victim or assaultive behavior toward the victim or anyone. After 12 months, the case will be dismissed without costs.

The remaining cases on the docket were civil matters. In those cases, Judge McFarlin held hearings and rendered judgment for the prevailing party.
