Woodbury Police charged a local man with DUI on Nov. 11.

WPD Patrolman John Fesmire responded to McDonald’s at around 11 p.m. on that date after receiving a complaint that a Chevy Trailblazer was possibly being operated by a drunk driver.

Patrolman Fesmire investigated and found Stephen Christopher Killion, 324 Powell St., Woodbury, to be the driver of the Trailblazer. Patrolman Fesmire noted Killion had an odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. Killion stated he had “a couple” of beers and failed to adequately perform field sobriety tests.

Beer bottle caps were found in the vehicle and in Killion’s pocket. An empty 12 pack of beer was in the vehicle.

Killion refused to take a blood alcohol content test and was charged with Violation of the Implied Consent law.

Initial court date is Dec. 13.
