Lucinda Parton Winnett

Lucinda Parton Winnett, 93, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Woodbury Health Care Center following an extended illness.

A native of DeKalb County, she lived in Woodbury at the time of her passing.

She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by the late Charley and Nancy Corley Parton; her husband, Firm Winnett; a son, Lannye Winnett; a sister, Evelyn Todd and brothers, Dorse, Tommie and Chester Parton.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Winnett of Woodbury and Dwight Winnett of Peoria, IL; four grandchildren, Keith Winnett of Columbia City, IN, Brian Winnett of Salem, IL and Jerry and T.J. Winnett of Murfreesboro; a brother, Dewey Parton of Nashville and a sister, Bonnie Bratcher of Centertown.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Brother George Kessler officiating. Burial will be in Leoni Cemetery.
