PrintLouise Hollis Melton, 85, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at her home following an extended illness.
A resident of Woodbury, she was a native of Cannon Co., TN.
Survivors:
2 Sons & Daughters-in-law: Bob and Carol Melton and Mike and Jeanne Melton, all of Woodbury.
3 Grandchildren: Kelly (Melissa) Melton, Heather Melton and Hope (Trevor) Melton Searcy.
2 Great Grandchildren: Cortney & Zach Melton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hogan David and Berdie Stroud Hollis; step-Mother, Macon Hollis, her husband, Willie Carlton Melton and her sister, Sara Frances Hollis.
A member of the Sunny Slope Church of Christ, she was Retired from the Postal Service.
Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 - 9 pm Wednesday, January 25, 2012
