Locked Inside: It Was Only The Dog

Beverly Gene McLees, South Ridge Drive C-8, Woodbury, was charged with public intoxication on June 29 by Woodbury Police Patrolman John Fesmire.

McLees allegedly had slurred speech, had trouble standing, stumbled several times and even fell on the stairs at the South Ridge Apartments complex. The fall resulted in an injury.

McLees had contacted Cannon County Dispatch to report that kids were locked in her apartment. However, there was only a dog present inside.

Bond was set at $250. Initial court date is Aug. 23.
