Calling all green thumbs (or those that want green thumbs), come join us this winter for an amazing journey down the plant kingdom. The class is an intensive 10 session course covering topics such as soils and fertility, plant propagation, lawn care, disease and insect control, ornamentals, fruits and vegetable gardening.

The course will be in the evenings January through March and will be downstairs of the University of Tennessee Extension Service.

Cost for the course is $100 (or $125) for couples. This includes all materials, refreshments, and the 2019 newly revamped Tennessee Master Gardeners' Handbook, long known as the written authority for gardening in Tennessee. If you are interested, please drop by the Extension office 614 Lehman Street, Woodbury, TN. or call (615) 563-2554 or tsteelm2@utk.edu. We must have a minimum of 12 participants to conduct the course. In the event we are unable to make the class, the Warren County Extension Office has agreed to accept Cannon County participants.
