Head coach Joel Schrenk says the main goal for spring practice is to find out which young kids are going to be ready to step up.
“We are going to be young as a team anyway, we just need to figure out who is going to play where. QB will be a big question mark for us, after we figure that out the pieces will fall into place," Schrenk said.
"We are also looking for toughness, who is willing and able to be physical. We are returning only four players on defense, and five on offense. We should have about 10 new kids out for spring, and about 15 freshman when the summer starts.”
Spring practice concludes Saturday, May 22 at 11 a.m. with a scrimmage game against Sequatchie County at CCHS.
