Lions High School Baseball Sweeps Doubleheader

Five runs in the first and five in the fifth and final inning gave the Cannon County Lions their second consecutive win Tuesday night in Nashville as they collected the "W" over East Nashville 10-3. The Lions swept the double header 12-7 in the second game as the Lions move to 3-2 on the season

The Cannon Middle School Lions had a slight 3-2 lead over Forrest Middle Tuesday night. Forrest scored a run in the top of the 7^th to tie and then scored three more in the top of the 8^th. The Lions scored a run in the bottom of the extra inning but hit into a one out bases loaded double play to end the game as Forrest went on to win 6-4

On the printed schedule for Wednesday the Cannon County Middle School Lions will be at Danny Young Memorial Field at County Fairgrounds to meet Cascade in a 5:30 home game.
