Let There Be Lights!

One of the highlights of the Cannon County Courthouse Revitalization Project is decorative lighting around the downtown square.

Crews from Middle Tennessee Electric installed the poles and light fixtures Tuesday morning.

Work on the project continues this week, and will result in some inconveniences to those persons traveling around the courthouse.

North Cannon Street on the east side of the Cannon County Courthouse will be closed to thru traffic due Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Persons needing to go to court or conduct other business at the courthouse will still be able to gain access to parking from the east side entrance to the courthouse by entering from W. Water St. as it will temporarily be turned into a two-way from that side.
