TRUSTEE’S SALE
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of August, 2008, by deed of trust of record in the Register’s Office of Cannon County, Tennessee in Record Book 113, Page 314, SMITH SISTERS, LLC, conveyed to B. JO ATWOOD, Trustee, the hereinafter described real estate to secure payment of a promissory note which is fully described in said deed of trust, and,

BEING the same property conveyed to Smith Sisters, LLC by deed of record in Record Book 113, Page 312, of the Register’s Office of Cannon County, Tennessee.
This conveyance is subject to the restrictions of record in Book 177, Page 316; and an easement in Plat Book 1, Page 97, and to any and all matters as shown of record in the Register’s Office of Cannon County, Tennessee.

NOTICE OF GRAND JURY MEETING
It is the duty of your Grand Jury to investigate any public offense which they know or have reason to believe has been committed and which is triable or indictable in this county.

Any person having knowledge or proof that such an offense has been committed may apply to testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated Section 40-1626. The Foreman of the Grand Jury is presently Mitch Wilson, 330 Riverbend Drive, Woodbury, Tennessee 37190.

The Grand Jury will next meet on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2010 at 8:30 A.M. in the Courtroom of the Cannon County Courthouse.

Ordinance No. 432 - An ordinance adopting the 2006 edition of the International Building Code
 
Ordinance No. 433 - An ordinance amending the Town of Woodbury Municipal Zoning Ordinance, regulating development within the corporate limits of Woodbury, Tennessee, to                                             minimize danger to life and property due to flooding, and to maintain eligibility for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program.

CANNON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING  
CANCELLED

The Cannon County Regional Planning Commission will not meet on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010. The next scheduled meeting is set for Tuesday September 28th, 2010 starting at 6:00 P.M. at the Cannon County Court House.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Woodbury Mayor and Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing at the Woodbury City Hall on Tuesday, September 7th, at 7:00 p.m.  The purpose of this public hearing is to solicit public comments regarding the proposed adoption of a revised Municipal Floodplain Zoning Ordinance. The adoption of the revised ordinance is required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to maintain eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for review at city hall. All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing.
