Law Enforcement Roadblocks Planned Next Friday

The Woodbury Police Dept. and the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept will be conducting safety and sobriety checkpoints on Friday December 17, 2010.

The roadblocks will be held on Highway 53 and Highway 70 in the Town of Woodbury and in Cannon County.

This event is a part of the Governors Highway Safety Office Booze it Loose it Campaign. Officers and Deputies will be paid from grant funds provided by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

The two departments are looking forward to this event. Our mission is to keep the roads and highways of Cannon County and the Town of Woodbury safe through out the holiday season.

State law requires public notification of locations and times of all checkpoints before the checkpoints occur.
