Judy Carlene Gaither

Judy Carlene Gaither was called home on November 17, 2023 at home in Murfreesboro.

Born on December 27, 1946 in Cannon County, TN. She was the daughter of Ruby Jane Lassiter and Emanuel Albert Gaither. Preceded in death by both parents, her sister Anna Faye Alexander, her son Gregory William Comstock, nieces Dustie and Kayce Davis and nephew Matthew Davis.

She is survived by two daughters Debra Comstock Hammer of Richmond Hill, GA and Jaclyn Comstock of Murfreesboro, TN and five grandchildren combined and a niece Ann Davis.

Judy was a homemaker and part-time Sonshine school teacher for the 2 year old class for many years. She was a member of East Main church of Christ where she taught Sunday school class (Cradle roll).

She enjoyed time on the family farm and roller skating in her youth. She enjoyed time spent on vacations and at various events at Middle Tennessee Christian School. She enjoyed listening to music, playing piano and dulcimer. During summer she enjoyed feeding and watching her hummingbirds. Recently she enjoyed using technology to connect with her family and to watch church services online.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Red Cross and Alive Hospice.

She cherished the moments, and a celebration of her life occurs each and every day.

A private interment moment will be observed at Riverside cemetery in Woodbury, TN.
