Jerry G. Farless

Jerry G. Farless (age 66), of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 after an extended illness. A native of Cannon County, he was preceded in death by his mother, Iva Lee Prater, and his brother, Ray Farless.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda; his son Randall and daughter-in-law Evelyn; two sisters, Betty Bradley and Joyce (Jeff) Hilton; and one brother, Tommy Lynn (Linda) Farless, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was the owner of Original Equipment Auto Trim, and specialized in automotive restyling for over 30 years.

Jerry was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 48 years, and he eagerly shared the message of God's Kingdom with anyone who would listen. He also volunteered his time to help build Kingdom Halls throughout Middle and East Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held at 1902 Smith Hall Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 on April 8, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Rich Govero, a minister and longtime friend of the family, will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be before and after the service.
