Jackie Bryson

Jackie Bryson, 78, of Auburntown passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford.  He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Ann Tate Bryson of Auburntown; Children:  Bob Bryson of Antioch, Sherry (Tony) Young and Ricky (Joan) Bryson both of Auburntown; 5 Grandchildren:  Jacob & Joshua Bryson, Devin, Daniel & Peyton Young

Mother-in-law:  Ernestine Tate of Auburntown; 4 Step Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Bryson was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny & Bernice Gilley Bryson; his daughter, Barbara Bryson and his brother, Howard Bryson.

Jackie was the retired owner of Bryson’s Market in Auburntown.  He was also owner and collector of many antique tractors.  He attended the Baptist church. His greatest accomplishment was being a family man, who loved his family dearly and they loved him just as much.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday, May 31, 2014 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Earl Dukes. Interment will follow in theSycamore Cemetery.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation: 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, May 30, 2014 and from 10 am until time of service Saturday.
