Hassie Mai Smith Osment , 94, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at her home.

A native ofWarrenCounty, she was a member of the Short Mountain Church of God and a homemaker. Going to church with her family was her favorite thing.

Survivors:

Children: Macon Osment Wade of McMinnville, Bratton (Louellen) Osment of McMinnville, Ernest (Betty) Osment of Woodbury, Joe Dorris Osment of Smithville, Roy (Lela) Osment of Woodbury, & Patsy (Peanut) McBride of McMinnville.

Brother:

Edward (Jean) Patterson of McMinnville

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hawley & Mary Walker Smith; husband, Selmer Osment; son-in-law, Robert Wade; Daughter-in-law, Linda Osment; grand daughter, Velba Kay Wade; grandson, Jeffery Osment; 2 Brothers: Lloyd Brown Smith & George Smith; 2 Sisters: Estelee Cope & Bertha Goff.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2012 with Bros. Clifford Daniel, Charlie Stanton & Steve Osment officiating. Interment will be in Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery.

Visitation: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm Sat., March 31 and Sunday until time of services.
