Gregory Melvin Green, 49, of Woodbury, TN passed away at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on May 20, 1973. Preceding him in death were his father, Melvin Green; grandparents, Jimmy and Bea Parker; grandparents, Cecil and Thelma Green. He is survived by his wife Tammy Green; step-daughters Jessica Bevelacqua (Scott) and Katie Welch; step-grandchildren; Brooklyn and Ethan Bevelacqua; mother, Phyllis Green; mother-in-law, Kathy Westmoreland; sister-in-law, Tonia Perry; aunts, Barbara Perry (James), Betty Grissom; Melba Emptage; Joyce Burns; Peggy Sain (Barry); along with numerous cousins and friends.

Greg graduated Cannon County High School with the Class of 1991. He was a 30-year employee with Kasai North America in Manchester TN.

Greg was an avid gun collector. He enjoyed off roading and any outdoor activities including tractor pulls, mud bogs, and NASCAR races. He so loved his family, friends, and animals and will truly be missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Gentry-Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 10 am - 12 pm. Funeral services will follow directly after on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 12 pm in the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home chapel. Steven Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Cherry Cemetery.
