Games On: Elementary Tournament Starts Tuesday

The Cannon County Elementary Basketball Tournament will begin tomorrow (2/2) regardless of whether or not school is in session. The games will begin at 4:00 pm at the Woodbury Grammar School gym.

Admission will be $4 per person and the proceeds from the gate will be split evenly among the 6 elementary schools. The tournament will continue on Thursday and will conclude on Saturday morning with games beginning at 10:00 am.

What happen to no school no basketball games? Don't know who made the call but if the roads are not good enough to attend school then is it fair to have the most important county games played when not all of your players can attend.
