Five Fail To Show Up For Court Appearance

Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, March 13. Following are the results of some of the cases on the docket:

Mary Jane Abel failed to appear on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest. A Capias was issued for her arrest.

Christopher Wayne Gilley failed to appear on a Violation Of Probation charge. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

Joseph Weldon Warren failed to appear on a Domestic Assault charge. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

Theresa G. Ring failed to appear on a Domestic Assault charges. A Capias was issued for her arrest.

Candice Brook Vickers failed to appear on a charge of Theft Over $500. A Capias was issued for her arrest.

Christine Ann Dilts entered a conditional plea of guilty to Perjury. She was placed on probation under judicial division for 11 months, 29 days and ordered to pay court costs.

Coty Brandon Farrell pled guilty to Driving On Suspended License 2nd Offense. He received a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and was ordered to serve 45 days in the Cannon County Jail. He was also fined $100, assessed court costs and will lose his license for one year. Ferrell also pled guilty to Simple Possession Schedule IV Drug. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, order to serve 45 days, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $250 and assessed court costs. His sentence will run concurrent.

Lisa A. George entered conditional pleas of guilty to three Worthless Check charges. She was placed on probation under judicial diversion for 11 months, 29 days and ordered to pay restitution and service fees on all three counts. George also entered a conditional plea of guilty to Theft Under $500 and was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days. She was also ordered to pay restitution and court costs. The sentences will run concurrent.

Jessica Lynn Marie Hunter pled guilty to Driving Without A License. She received a 30 day suspended sentence, equal probation time, a $2 fine and was assessed court costs.

Darrel D. Johnson entered a conditional plea of guilty to Simple Possession. He was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days under judicial division, fined $250 and assessed court costs.

Jeffrey Andrew Johnson pled guilty to Reckless Endangerment and Simple Possession Of Schedule II Drug. Sentencing was set for June 19. He will attend the Swaim Center for 5 days.

Roxanna Landis pled guilty to Prostitution. She was given a 6 month suspended sentence, equal time on probation, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs.

Todd Odell Hindsley had a charge of Promotion Of Prostitution dismissed at the request of the state.

Nickey E. Cantrell had a charge of Promoting Prostitution dismissed at the request of the state.

Amy Jo Nichols entered into an agreed order of retirement for 11 months, 29 days for Domestic Assault. She was also ordered to pay the county’s litigation tax.

Crystal Annette Nichols entered conditional pleas of guilty to three counts of Contributing To The Delinquency Of A Minor. She was placed on 11 months, 29 days probation under judicial division and ordered to pay court costs on each count. The sentences will run concurrent.

Nickolas Keef Phipps pled guilty to Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, equal time on probation, fined $150 and assessed court costs.

Angel Faye Hernandez entered a condition plea of guilty to Hindering A Secured Creditor and was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days under judicial diversion. She was also order to pay court costs and restitution of the victim in the amount of $3,048.

Wiley Thomas agreed to revocation on a charge of Violation Of Probation. He was ordered to served 21 days in the county jail and his probation was extended for 11 months.

Rena Nanette Clemmons had Revoked License (2nd offense), Speeding (46/30) and Insurance Law charges reset for April 24.

Tara C. Boling had a Fraud charge reset for April 17.

Randy Wade Holden, DUI 2nd (sentencing), was reset until April 24.

Dustin Lee Reed had charges of Domestic Assault, DUI 3rd Offense and Ignition Interlock reset for May 16.

Jesse Paul Smith was appointed the public defender, assessed an administrative fee of $50 and had charges of Possession Of Schedule III Narcotics, Possession Of Schedule IV Narcotics and Underage Consumption Of Alcohol reset for April 17.

Donald Tracy Hollis had charges of  DUI 8th Offense, Driving On A Revoked License 14th Offense, Evading Arrest With A Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment, Leaving The Scene Of A Property Damage Accident and Driving A Vehicle As A Habitual Motor Vehicle Offender reset for May 8.

Gary Eubanks, charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft Under $1,000, was reset for April 24.

Michael Wayne Regan had charges of Driving While License Suspended, Misuse Of Registration (tags) and Financial Responsibility reset for May 16.

Michael Myrlin Osborne had charges of Driving On Suspended License and Expired Registration reset for May 15.

Elisabeth Ann Harris was appointed the public defender and assessed an administrative fee of $50 on a charge of Filing A False Report. The case was reset for April 17.

William Ronnie Hayes was appointed the public defender and had charges of Domestic Assault and Hindering Secured Creditor reset for April 24.
