Attention All Merchants

Attention Woodbury Merchants. A meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Courthouse at 6 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to plan the Cannon Country Christmas Merchants Open House scheduled for Friday & Saturday, Nov. 22. and 23. All Merchants are invited and encouraged to participate.  

Bring your ideas and help to make this years event as positive as previous years, this is your event.  If you have any questions call Joann at Jennings Jewelers at 563-2421 or Carolyn at the Chamber of Commerce 563-2222.

Spooktacular Fall Fest

  Join us at the Spooktacular Fall Festival hosted by the Short Mountain Trading Post on Saturday Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Dress up in your favorite costume. Children and adults welcomed to join in.

  Trick or treat candies, Halloween games and prizes, craft booths, live music, best costume awards, fun shopping sale in the Loft and lunch specials with Terry-B's restaurant will be featured. We are located on Short Mountain Highway (Highway 146) toward Woodbury next to the Short Mountain Distillery.

2nd Annual Monster Dash

5k Fun Run/Walk to be held Oct. 26, 2013 at 8 a.m. The start and finish will be at Dillon Park at Alexander Dr., Woodbury

This is a FUNdraiser. To be included in judging be dressed up for Halloween and run/walk to win best dressed.

Registration includes a T-shirt for the first 75 participants registered by Oct. 17, 2013.

Mail form to CCHS Basketball Boosters, 75 Tanglewood Dr., Woodbury, TN 37190. Make payable to CCHS Basketball Boosters.  You can email smw_74@yahoo.com for more information.

Registration is available by 7:30 on the morning of event. T-shirts are additional on event day and can be picked up at a later date. Cost is $30.

Walkers and strollers welcome. Team of 5 receive $5 discount per person. Student discount $15 - Teacher discount $15 (cannot take additional $5 for teams)

All proceeds go to CCHS Basketball Boosters.
