Write your story about how UT Extension Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Economics) has impacted your life and win cash rewards. Deadline for entries is April 12.

The University of Tennessee Extension Service just celebrated 100 years of serving our state through education in the areas of agriculture, home economics, and youth development.

Our Extension success stories are one of the most effective ways we can show impact; however, agents often do not take the time often enough to write these stories and share them with stakeholders, government officials, or even Extension administrators.

Success stories are vitally important due to the tremendous impact we make in our clients lives each and every day.

I am asking you to write about how Extension Home Economics (Family and Consumer Sciences) has changed or improved your life. Write the Extension story from your own perspective and do not exceed three typed and double spaced pages.

Have a cover sheet that includes: Name, Telephone, E-mail address, Postal address, and the title of your story. Entries must be received by me, Carla Bush, at 614 Lehman Street Woodbury, TN 37190, no later than Friday, April 12, 2012 in order to be eligible for this award. Let me know if you have any questions about this and please do take the time to think about how Extension has influenced you and your family and write your story.
