DTC TV Launches NFL Network

ALEXANDRIA — DTC TV is pleased to announce an agreement has been reached with NFL Network, the only television network dedicated entirely to the NFL and the sport of football, to add the channel to its programming lineup beginning October 23, 2009.


DTC TV, which serves subscribers in the middle Tennessee area, will offer NFL Network on channel 40 and in high-definition (HD) on channel 340.

“Our customers are very passionate about the NFL and we are happy we could reach an agreement to add NFL Network to our programming lineup,” said Les Greer, CEO for DTC.

NFL Network is the destination for all that happens around the sport of football, during the season and throughout the year. NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides viewers with nearly 2,000 hours a year of original programming such as: NFL Total Access, NFL GameDay, NFL Replay, The NFL Head Coaches, Top 10, Sound FX, Playbook, Greatest 4th Qtrs, NFL Classic Games and the Emmy Award winning America’s Game series.

In addition NFL Network offers live games in high-definition with Thursday Night Football, featuring eight NFL regular season games in primetime, every NFL preseason game, the Insight Bowl and the Senior Bowl.

“DTC TV has always cared about meeting the needs of its customers just like the NFL has with its fans,” said NFL Network Chief Operating Officer Kim Williams. “This announcement is about both of us joining together to continue that tradition and delivering more NFL programming to the fans.”

NFL Network gives fans unprecedented year-round access to all NFL events, including the Super Bowl, 

Playoffs, regular season, preseason, Pro Bowl, Pro Football Hall of Fame induction weekend, NFL Draft, 

Scouting Combine, league meetings, minicamps and training camps. Fans turn to NFL Network to receive 

information and insight straight from the field, team headquarters, league offices and everywhere the NFL 

is making news.
