Every parent dreams of having the healthiest and happiest kids possible. When Faith Bogle found out she was having a bouncing, baby girl, she couldn’t have been more pleased. As her pregnancy progressed, it became clear that her baby was facing complications that could even affect her little ones survival.

Lilly Christine Bogle was born on October 1, 2012 with one functioning kidney and rocker bottom feet. Pretty soon, Faith was taking her baby back and forth to Vanderbilt spending hours and hours on the road and in the waiting room.

On a whim, she talked to Podiatrist Dr. Mark Superstein of Stones River Hospital to ask his opinion on her daughter’s condition. After a brief assessment, he suggested she meet with a fellow podiatrist, Dr. Christi Bouldin, also at Stones River.

Dr. Bouldin, who excels in the Ponsetti Method of casting, immediately took on the task of healing Baby Lilly.
“I couldn’t believe after going back and forth to Vanderbilt, that I could have an exceptional specialist so close to home,” Faith smiles, “Dr. Bouldin is not only great with my daughter, but explains her foot condition and treatment in a way that I can understand.”

Now, as an active eight month old, baby Lilly’s feet are now flexible enough for her surgery in October. A full recovery is expected. Mom is looking forward to Lilly’s first steps thanks to Dr. Bouldin.
