Della Katherine Frazier Young

Della Katherine Frazier Young, 88, of Woodbury passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford. She was born in Saltville, VA., to her parents, Clyde and Georgia Talbert Frazier.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Nile Young of Woodbury; her children, Brenda (Richard) Weathers of Murfreesboro, Doug (Gloria) Young of Woodbury, Suzy Young of Jacksonville, FL. And David Clyde (Cindy) Young of Woodbury; grandchildren, Jared Young, Anthony Young, Ashley (J.B.) Harris, Angela Young, Lindsey (Will) Eipper, Stefanie Winter, Corey (Michelle) Young, Sarah Young, Clay (Eve) Young, Connor (Haleigh) Young; siblings, Grace Young and David (Joyce) Frazier all of Woodbury and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris Frazier of Smithville and Jesse Harrington of Lebanon.

Also surviving are 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death her brother, John C. Frazier and sister, Mary Lou Harrington.

Ms. Frazier was a devoted member of her beloved church, the First United Methodist Church of Woodbury where she sang in the choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women's Group. She volunteered for many organizations including Stones River Women's Auxiliary, Cannon County Senior Center, and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She was an excellent seamstress, always enjoyed crocheting and making prayer shawls for her church. Above everything else, she was a homemaker who was especially devoted to her husband and her family of whom she was so proud.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. John Hembree officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with her family will be from 10 AM until 2 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021.
