Countryman Has Probation Revoked

Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:

Daniel Blake Marlow pled guilty to the charge of driving on a suspended license. He was sentenced to 6 months in the county jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying a $50.00 fine and paying the court costs.

Jennifer Countryman pled guilty to the charge of violation of probation. Her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve her entire sentence.

Robin Clark Green was appointed an attorney. He is charged with simple possession and casual exchange of marijuana and his court date was set for June 8, 2010.

Ricky Daniel Vinson was appointed an attorney. He is charged with domestic assault and his court date was set for May 4, 2010.

Nicholas Alan Adams was appointed an attorney. He is charged with violation of probation and his court date was set for April 20, 2010.

Donnie Ray Stevens was appointed an attorney. He is charged with passing a worthless check and his court date was set for April 27, 2010.

Bobby Chad Bailey was appointed an attorney. He is charged with violation of probation and his court date was set for April 20, 2010.

The remaining cases on the docket were civil cases and simple traffic violations. In the civil cases, Judge Melton either entered agreed or default judgments or held a hearing. In the traffic cases, Judge Melton assessed a fine and court costs or ordered the defendants to attend driver safety school.
