Woodbury Police and Cannon County Sheriff officers charged a number of people recently with driving violations.

Corey Wayne Ferrell, 1257 Simpson Road, Bradyville, was charged with DUI (1st offense) by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House on March 2 following a traffic stop on South McCrary St. Ferrell failed a both a field sobriety test and a PBT, according to the arrest warrant. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is April 12. A passenger in the vehicle, William Burford Fletcher, 429 Wilson Hollow Rd., Woodbury, was charged with underage consumption. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 12.

Cassi Nicole Morton, 544 Taylor Women Rd., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license (1st offense) by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown on March 1 following a traffic stop on West Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 12.

Tonya McClure, 115 Rivermont Dr., McMinnville, was charged with driving on a revoked license and speeding (76/45) by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown following a traffic stop on West Main St. on March 1. Release citations were issued. Initial court date is April 12.

Justin Ryan McPeak, 7397 McMinnville Hwy., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire of March 5 after his vehicle was stopped for excessive noise on West Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 19.

Jonathan Shane Kennedy, 1803 Middle Tennessee Blvd., Murfreesboro, was charged with driving on a revoked license by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Barker on March 6. Kennedy was found in control of a 1992 Nissan Stanza which was parked in the eastbound lane of Stones River Rd. with the hazard lights on. Kennedy stated he was driving to pick up a friend and the car died, possibly from bad gas. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 5.
