Cannon Sports Today 4-23

High scoring affair in Gainesboro Thursday as the Cannon County Lions baseball team put a season high 20 runs on the board in beating Jackson County. The Blue Devils countered however with 10 runs of their own. Cannon finishes their three game road trip Saturday at Pickett County.
The Cannon County Lionettes Middle Grades Softball team lost a heartbreaker to Community School in the Duck River Valley Conference District Tournament's second round 6-5. The Lionettes drop to the double elimination losers bracket tonight at 7p against Westwood. Game will take place at Cascade High School in Bell Buckle.
Cannon County Lions Middle Grades Baseball team beat Coffee County for their third win of the season 11-6. Tonight the Lions travel to Smith County to play Smith County Middle with a 5:30 start.
