At 726 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Murfreesboro to 6 miles southwest of Woodbury to 10 miles southwest of McMinnville to Monteagle... moving northeast at 25 mph.
The line of showers and thunderstorms are occurring along a warm frontal boundary that extends across southern middle Tennessee. This is in a high shear environment and is being monitored closely.
Half inch size hail... and winds around 40 mph are expected with these storms.
