A Woodbury woman went from one jail to another this week.

Allison P. Blair, 7316 McMinnville Highway, Woodbury, was transported to the Cannon County Jail on March 29 after she was released from Coffee County Jail, where she had been serving a sentence.

Upon her arrival here, she was served three warrants taken out by CCSD Investigator Anthony Young.

One warrant charges Blair with theft over $1,000. She allegedly took property belonging to Wallace Parton on or about January 26, 2011, said property being a shotgun, a rifle, pocket knives, two chain saws, other power tools, a laptop, a pair of Nike sneakers, and some of his grandchildren’s clothes. Total value of the property is estimated at $2,450.

A second warrant charged Blair with fraudulent receipt of food assistance, alleging she sold her food stamps for money. She was also served for failing to appear at the Cannon County Jail on Jan. 18 to serve a court-ordered sentence.

Total bond was set at $8,500. Initial court date is April 5.
