Bennett Presides Over General Sessions Court

Special General Sessions Judge Stan Bennett presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:

Gabriel Huaracha pled guilty to the charge of driving on a suspended license. He was sentenced to 6 months in the county jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation, paying a $50.00 fine and paying the court costs.

Steven Birdwell was appointed an attorney. He is charged with driving on a revoked license.

Nathaniel G. Wanner was appointed an attorney. He is charged with violation of probation, driving under the influence 2nd offense, driving on a revoked license 7th offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ricky Cooper was appointed an attorney. He is charged with violation of probation.

Gary Wayne Davenport was appointed an attorney. He is charged with aggravated domestic assault.

The remaining cases on the docket were traffic violations. In those matters, the defendants were either ordered to attend driver safety school or pay a fine and court costs.
