Beer Bash Brings Charges

Five people were charged on Aug. 17 after Woodbury police officers responded to a report of a loud party at 113 McBroom St.

Upon arrival several subjects were seen taking off around the back of the house and some went into the detached garage, where a beer pong table was set up. Several people were also observed around a table drinking beer behind the house.

Several juveniles were inside the garage. Officers observed numerous beer bottles and a beer keg.

Those adults charged were:

Samuel Alonzo Wetzel, 113 McBroom St., Woodbury, was charged with Contributing To The Delinquency Of A Minor. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Aug. 18.

Amber McTaggart, 219 Thurston Young Rd., Bradyville, was cited for violation of the 18-20 Consumption Law. McTaggart was found to allegedly be under the influence of an intoxicant and failed a Portable Breath Test. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Sept. 25.

Patrick Siharath, 2822 Grange Place, Murfreesboro, was charged with Underage Possession Of An Intoxicant. A release citation was issued and court was set for Sept. 18.

Dionte S. Simmons, 3878 Andrea Brock Ct., Murfreesboro, was charged with Underage Possession Of An Intoxicant. A release citation was issued and court was set for Sept. 18.

Samantha Volkmon, 113 McBroom St., Woodbury, was charged with Underage Possession Of An Intoxicant. A release citation was issued and court was set for Sept. 18.

Bradley Brian Turner, 11220 Spanttown Rd., Arrington, was charged with Underage Possession of An Intoxicant. A release citation was issued and court was set for Sept. 18.

Several juveniles were also cited and had juvenile court appearances schedules. Their parents were contacted to pick them up.
