The Cannon County High School Athletic Council (CCHSAC) held its first Fall Football BBQ Bash on the Square in Woodbury Friday night with hundreds attending the event.

The Square was filled not only with people, but also with enthusiasm as players and cheerleaders from each of the football programs in Cannon County were recognized. The Pee Wee, Junior Lions and Cannon County High School teams were introduced, as were the cheerleaders from each team. The CCHS Marching Band provided the entertainment.

“This is great,” said junior tailback/linebacker Damon Collette. “The support is wonderful and it shows people really care about what you are doing. We have been working hard in hopes of turning in another good season this year and this makes you want to deliver even more.”
