Glad to hear Jay Williams is now home following an emergency admission and surgery intervention recently.

Are you proud to be a Knights' fan? Yes we are!! Both Lady Knights and Knights played in the Championship games of the 2013 Cannon County Grammar School Tournament held last week at the Cannon Co High School gym. The ladies went up against the Woodbury Lady Cubs which with whom they had split during the regular season. The Lady Knights took over at the tipoff and never looked back. Congratulations ladies for a great season.

The first game for the Knights was a barn burner with the Woodbury Cubs. It went into overtime with our guys holding on for a 3-point lead at the final buzzer. This win put them up against the Westside Eagles which had not lost a season game. The Knights got the tip and with a great effort controlled the first half by a 1-point lead; however, the Eagles came out the second half with their claws out and knocked the Knights back by 12 points when the last buzzer sounded. We are still so proud of you.

The night didn't end there though. Selected for the Season's Most Valuable Players were Samantha Gaither for the girls and Tyler King for the boys. MaLeah Scott cinched the Tournament's Most Valuable Player honors. Making the All Tournament teams were Hannah Whited, Samantha Gaither, Austin Duggin, Brendon Cox and Tyler King. Way to go Knights, way to go!!

Are you ready for another Juicy Leach tale? According to Jimmy Mingle, it was an extra slow day at Bunt's Garage when Juicy said, "I'm gonna go out there an do away with some of'em so we won't have so much to do."

I only have a couple of more tales so if you know one, let me know.
