Assault Charges Lodged Against Two

Two men recently had assault charges lodged against them in separate incidents.

• Russell Dale Walls, 4167 Parchcorn Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Domestic Assault on June 17 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen. Walls allegedly struck the purported victim several times about the face with his fist. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Aug. 7.

• Jonathan W. Johnson, 213 E. High St., Woodbury, was arrested on a warrant charged him with Assault on June 19. The warrant was obtained by the purported victim, who alleges Johnson caused him to be in fear of bodily harm when Johnson threatened to “stomp his teeth in” on June 10. Bond was set at $1,300. Initial court date is July 24.

In other recent incidents:

• Brandon Ross Bogle, 425 Kendra Dr., Smithville, was charged with Public Intoxication on June 17 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney. Bogle was found to be allegedly under the influence at a location on Warren Road at around 10 p.m. Bogle stated he had been drinking all day. The deputy observed Bogle had a smell of alcohol about his person and his speech was slurred. Bond was set at $300. Initial court date is Aug. 7.

• Trina Devona Graham, 3255 Iconium Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Animals-at-Large on June 7 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney. Deputy Turney observed Graham’s horse at large on the property located at 3106 Iconium Rd. Officers had previously warned Graham about her horse being at large. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 10.
